Tyco Electronics, the holding company to SCII, is known world wide for its leading component brands, network solutions as well as wireless products. Tyco Electronics is supplying products over 150 countries in industries including automotive, home appliance, aerospace and defense, telecommunications, computer and consuming goods. 12.7 billion of turnover was realized in the of 2006, and its capability to serve its customers is achieved also through its manufacturing sides over the world.

1999年3月，美国Tyco电子集团合资创建上海西艾爱电子有限公司，专业为Tyco电子开发并生产十大系列产品，目前建有20条流水线，年生产能力达1200万只。
Ever since 1999 the year in which SCII was set up as a joint venture with half of the investment coming from US Tyco Electronics, SCII has been specializing in developing and manufacturing 10 versions of products for Tyco Electronics. At present, it owns 20 production lines with a capacity of 12 million pcs of part.

SCII经过七年的快速发展，目前拥有职工650多名。
Upon a rapid growing for 7 years, SCII has now over 650 employees.

2005年10月，占地60余亩、厂房面积25000 m2的现代化工业园，开始在上海宝山开发区进行建设，2007年1月15日开始新园区办公。
In Oct. 2005, SCII started to build its new facility in Baoshan Industrial Zone, Shanghai, which occupies some 60 Mu of a land and modern buildings in over 25,000 m2. Moving to the new facility was held on Jan.15, 2007.

SCII is specialized in the world-known brand products, such as CORCOM Power filter, P&B Non-PCB relay, P&B circuit breaker, Kilovac high-voltage contactor, PU transformer, PU special purpose contactor, ALR photo-controls, CIID coils, and so on. Product items released to SCII from Tyco Electronics are the ones that are patent crowned, known for their top brands, and comply with the major int’l qualification tests.

SCII引进的所有产品均获美国UL、加拿大CSA、德国VDE/TUV、瑞典SEV、瑞士SEMKO、中国CQC/CCC等安规认证。
All of the products SCII is supplying have been approved by Safety agencies including UL, CSA, VDE/TUV, SEV, SEMKO, CQC/CCC, and etc.
